As Tropical Storm Isaac and the Republican National Convention approach Florida, Governor Rick Scott gave a brief statement assuring the public that that his state is prepared: “We are a hospitality state. We know how to take care of people and we want to ensure their safety,” he said. While a hurricane warning has been issued for the Florida keys, forecasters have said that Isaac won’t hit Tampa directly, though nasty weather is still expected. We’re looking forward to seeing how Mitt Romney’s hair handles this one.
