The NYPD’s spray-happy Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna, perhaps the most notorious figure to come out of the Occupy Wall Street protests, is being sued not only by the women he doused in the eyes, but now by two other protesters who claim he violated their rights by arresting them on the sidewalk. “Sidewalks are, constitutionally and practically, a safe haven for peaceable protest and political association, a space upon which people may engage others in free speech, in collective action,” the suit reads. We’re not saying they’re wrong, but this sob story is a distant second.
