Survey: 25 Percent of City Residents Wouldn’t Date Someone From a Different Borough

In an attention-seeking but nevertheless entertaining survey released by the website rent.com, 25 percent of city residents said they wouldn’t consider dating someone who lived in a different borough, AMNY reports. Manhattanites proved the most xenophopic, as 28 percent answered that they wouldn’t get involved with someone from another lowly borough. Participants from Queens were most open to giving outsiders a shot, but not by much: 23 percent would rule out an inter-borough romance. One man told AMNY he hated dating someone outside of Manhattan because she was “geographically undesirable,” which we suppose is better than being just plain undesirable.
