School District Mad It Paid Someone Not to Work

Not that we’re defending the actions of a Brooklyn assistant principal who intentionally missed time at her school so she could take a second job at the YMCA, but it seems a touch hypocritical of the city to fire her while it still can’t figure out how not to keep 800 teachers idle in “rubber rooms” at a cost of $22 million a year. Just saying.
