The latest news of Neslon Mandela’s health has taken a discouraging turn after he was said to be improving as recently as Saturday. 94-year-old Mandela has been listed in critical condition, the office of current President Jacob Zuma said on Sunday. The former South African president has been listed in “serious but stable” shape since he was admitted to the hospital with a lung infection on June 8. Mandela spent 10 days in the hospital in another health scare in April, before he recovered enough to go home. Hopefully this one will end the same way.
