Citing a “knowledgeable source,” the Huffington Post reports that Pope Francis is known to don regular priest clothes so he can leave the Vatican to minister to the homeless at night. This is a little less exciting than yesterday’s news of his former gig as a nightclub bouncer, but it is equally endearing. It’s also the kind of thing you might expect from a guy who seems genuinely worried by the sight of people standing outside in the cold without proper outerwear.
