Nor’easter to Mostly Spare New York, Sprinkle Light Spring Snow

The threat of a “nor’easter bomb” detonating on New York City this week lessened over the warm, beautiful weekend, and instead forecasters are expecting just a bit of late-March misery. Freezing temperatures on Monday will give way to light or moderate snow starting Tuesday night and carrying into Wednesday morning. Odds are it’ll just be an inch or two, if that. (Boston is likely to get it worse as the storm moves off the coast.) It’s not ideal, but we’ll take it.
