With a deal to sell the Los Angeles Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion looking likely, racist troll Donald Sterling has announced via his lawyer that he doesn’t need the money. “There can be no sale without Donald’s signature,” insisted Bobby Samini to an L.A. Times reporter, even though that may not be technically true. “My belief is he will not sell this team.” Sterling, the attorney added, already has “a couple billion dollars,” so “he could not care less” about the record-setting bid, which “wouldn’t change his life in any way.” Except for the not-owning-the-Clippers part. To fully embody the stereotype of a dickish lawyer to a wretched billionaire, Samini then sped away in a BMW.
