Following weeks of enhanced scrutiny of her family’s wealth and an attention-grabbing student protest over the University of Nevada at Las Vegas’s decision to give her $225,000 (which everyone now knows is standard) for a speech scheduled for October, Hillary told ABC News that all the money she has made off of colleges in the last year and a half has been “donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation.” On the scale of “not out-of-touch” to Marie Antoinette, that explanation still falls a bit closer to the latter. At least she’s trying?
