Junior Bishop, the Times Square Spider-Man who punched a cop this summer, has been cleared. The New York Daily News reports that prosecutors dropped the assault, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest charges the 25-year-old was facing, though it’s not clear why they did so. Either way, he’s now free to re-join his fellow superheroes in the noble fight to separate tourists from their cash.
