Comcast has officially ended its bid to merge with Time Warner, according to the Times. The $45 billion merger would have turned two terrible cable companies into one monstrously terrible cable company, kind of like when you combine shit and shit to make more shit. How is it possible that canceling a major merger is easier than canceling your Comcast cable service?
