You know the number in Grease where Frenchy is sitting in a booth at the diner twirling her accidentally dyed pink hair and wishing for a guardian angel. And then suddenly Frankie Avalon descends from the heavens with a legion of women clad in sparkly hair curlers and croons “Beauty School Dropout” at her and tells her to give up and go back to high school. This is like that, except the name of the song is now “Tiki Torch Nazis” — the preferred illumination of white supremacists at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia — and the thing they need to give up is being racist bigots.
The video, which has over 1.4 million views on Facebook and counting, is the brainchild of Sandy and Richard Riccardi, who are a husband-and-wife musical-parody duo. It rhymes “David Duke” with “puke.” I love everything about it. If you also (a) know Nazis are bad and (b) enjoy hyperspecific musical-theater gags, you will probably love it, too.
Good luck getting this one out of your head today.
