Violent crime rates surge in U.S. during the pandemic

Since the pandemic, parts of the U.S. have experienced increased violent crime, last weekend at least four mass shootings took place across the country killing three and injuring 36. NBC News’ Joshua Johnson is joined by crime historian and professor at the Ohio State University, Randolph Roth, to discuss the rise in violence.
