Footwear launches
Brooks Glycerin 22 SE
If you like wearing Brooks’ sneakers as lifestyle shoes rather than running shoes, make room in your closet — the brand just dropped a special-edition pair of its Glycerin 22 sneakers with a pull-on, laceless design. They’re easy to take on and off, and since they look less athletic than a typical Glycerin sneaker, they’re more versatile in terms of what outfit you pair them with. The Glycerin 22 SE has plush nitrogen-infused foam, and there’s more cushioning in the heel than the toe to soften your landings while walking. Its stretchy, flat knit upper is also slightly compressive to hold your foot in place.
Saucony Matrix
Saucony first launched its Matrix sneaker in 1999, and 25 years later, the brand is adding it back to its main shoe collection. It was originally designed by Brian Moore, who’s currently Saucony’s Chief Product Officer. He updated the Matrix for the 2025 re-launch by keeping the shoe’s original colors, materials and silhouette, while adding new personal touches, including his wife’s name in Mandarin characters on the back. The Matrix has reflective piping, breathable mesh uppers and a chunky outsole.
Staple x Brooks Adrenaline GTS 4
For the first time, Brooks re-released one of its oldest sneakers, the Adrenaline GTS 4, in collaboration with Jeff Staple, a New York-based streetwear designer. The shoe originally debuted in 2002, and together, Brooks and Staple revamped it to have the same classic look with new colors and details that are reminiscent of 2000s running culture. It’s designed as a lifestyle shoe rather than a workout shoe, so don’t expect to wear it during marathon training.
Rothy’s The Court Sneaker
Rothy’s The Court Sneaker has a 1.5-inch platform outsole, a soft foam footbed and knit upper made from plastic bottles. The sneakers are machine-washable so don’t worry if you get them dirty on your commute or while running errands. They’re available in women’s sizes and three colors: Bright White, black and Sand Dune (tan and white).
Tech launches
Apple MacBook Air (M4)
The MacBook Air is one of the best laptops you can buy, and this latest version starts at $999 — that’s $100 less than last year’s model. On the outside, it looks very familiar, but the inside has Apple’s latest M4 chip, which should lead to improved all-around performance. The laptop also has a new webcam that can automatically keep you centered in the frame during video calls. It comes in four colors and two sizes: 13-inches (linked above) and 15-inches, which start at $999 and $1,199 respectively.
Apple iPad Air (M3)
The iPad Air sits in the middle of Apple’s tablet lineup: it’s faster and more capable than the brand’s entry-level iPad (A16), but not nearly as pricey as the iPad Pro (M4). This latest iPad Air (M3) version looks identical to last year’s model, but has a new M3 chip inside that should deliver slightly faster overall performance. It comes in four colors and two sizes: 11-inches and 13-inches.
You can pair it with the newly launched Apple Magic Keyboard attachment (sold separately), which now has function keys, and a larger trackpad at the bottom of the keyboard.
Apple Mac Studio (M4 Max)
Apple also launched new versions of its Mac Studio desktop computer: the Mac Studio (M4 Max) (linked above) and Mac Studio (M3 Ultra). These are powerful computers best suited for creative professionals with technically demanding workflows like composers, movie editors, 3D modelers or AI programmers, for example. Both new versions have more powerful processors than previous models and have built-in faster Thunderbolt 5 ports for quicker data transfer.
Twelve South AirFly Pro 2
Twelve South’s AirFly is one of our favorite travel gadgets, and the brand just updated it to add even more features. The dongle, which you can plug into the headphone jack on airplane seats, exercise equipment or an older car’s radio, transmits audio to your wireless headphones. The new model can connect to two devices at once via Bluetooth, plus it has upgraded audio, echo-cancelling and noise-suppression technology to make for a better listening experience. You get up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Anker Nano Travel Adapter
A travel adapter is a must-pack for any international trip. This model from Select-favorite brand Anker has plugs for the US, EU, United Kingdom and Australia. It has a two-prong outlet in the center plus two USB-A and two USB-C ports on the sides — plenty for charging all your travel essentials.
LG C5 Series TV
LG is one of the best TV brands because of its stellar OLED TVs: last year’s C4 Series TVs are some of our favorites. This latest C5 series has a new internal processor that should lead to better performance with AI features like picture upscaling, motion processing and more, according to the brand. The C5 also has a slightly brighter screen and slimmer frame than the C4.
OM-3 Mirrorless Camera
This new digital camera is styled after the 1980s Olympus OM-3 film camera of the same name. It has a small, boxy shape and retro dial controls on top. Inside, this is a thoroughly modern camera, with a touch screen, snappy auto focus and plenty of advanced photo and video modes. It’s small size, compact lens options and IP53 dust and water resistance rating make it a good fit for travel.
Beauty and wellness launches
Hydroviv Filtered Showerhead
Hydroviv redesigned its filtered showerhead to be a complete fixture rather than an attachment you add between your shower’s pipe and head. It removes over 93% of chlorine and other chemicals from water, according to the brand, and each filter lasts for about 25,000 gallons of water — you replace it every six months, which is about double the lifespan of other brands’ filters. The fixture fits most standard showers and comes with all the installation materials you need.
Therabody Theragun Mini (3rd Generation)
The Theragun Mini is an NBC Select Wellness Award winner and our favorite massage gun for travel for a reason — it’s smaller and more portable than most options on the market. This third generation version is even smaller than before, and now has a travel lock function that, when you turn it on, prevents the massager from accidentally turning on in your bag or suitcase, according to Therabody. Like the previous version, it comes with three ball head attachments and a soft case.
Therabody ThermBack LED
This back wrap is meant to reduce back pain through different built-in treatment options. It has red light therapy, heat therapy and vibration therapy modes you can customize using buttons on the device or the Therabody app. The band is one size fits all — it’s made with elastic compression straps and adjustable Velcro. The ThermBack gets up to 180 minutes of run time on a single charge, though you can also use it while it’s plugged in.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleansing Balm
Glossier’s Milk Jelly collection expanded with the launch of the brand’s first cleansing balm. Using botanical oils, sugar-based cleansing agents and glycerin, this gel-balm is designed to remove makeup, sunscreen and grime from the face without stripping or drying out the skin, according to Glossier. You can massage it into your skin and rinse it clean immediately or use it as a moisturizing face mask by leaving it on for three to five minutes before rinsing off.
Charlotte Tilbury Dark Spot Correcting Radiance Recovery Serum
Suitable for all skin types, this serum helps strengthen the skin barrier, improve dullness and reduce the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation and acne scars, according to the brand. It does so by using brightening and hydrating ingredients like vitamin C, tranexamic acid, squalane and niacinamide, all of which are ingredients dermatologists have recommended to me in my past reporting about how to target discoloration.
Dyson Supersonic r Professional Hair Dryer
Dyson’s Supersonic r, originally created for professional and salon use only, is now available to the masses. It’s the brand’s smallest, most lightweight and most expensive hair tool yet. The hair dryer has an “r” shape, which allows it to help quickly dry hair and comes with new technology to maximize its airflow and temperature, according to the brand. In addition to the dryer, you’ll get five attachments, which have sensors in them that adjust their motor and heat settings to optimize the attachment’s performance and prevent heat damage, according to Dyson.
Fur Chafe Cushion
This velvet-like stick helps prevent chafing by creating a protective barrier on the skin, soothing it and relieving any irritation from previous chafing. All you have to do is swipe the anti-chafe stick on any of your problem areas to target these concerns. Its formula has niacinamide, shea butter and a slew of other slippery, hydrating ingredients that will help keep the skin soft and moisturized without leaving a residue, according to the brand.
Skinfix Barrier+ Balancing Water Cream
“Skinfix’s Barrier+ moisturizers are some of my favorites,” says NBC Select associate reporter Bianca Alvarez. This new addition is especially great for those with oily, acne-prone and combination skin because it’s lightweight and noncomedogenic. The cream, which is water based, is also great for these skin types because it helps reduce excess oil, redness and the appearance of pores, according to the brand.
Igk Best Interest Deep Repair Air Dry Styler
This leave-in treatment takes a two-pronged approach to your hair: it’s designed to improve its look by reducing frizz and adding shine and also repair it by minimizing split ends and breakage, according to the brand. To achieve these results, apply it to towel-dried hair and distribute it evenly by brushing it before allowing it to air dry.
Dr. Jart Cicapair Gentle Cleansing Foam
Dr. Jart’s Cicapair line is an NBC Select-staff favorite and they recently expanded it with this daily foaming face wash, which is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. The non-drying cleanser removes grime and makeup but also focuses on reducing redness and visible irritation, according to the brand.
The Inkey List Exosome Hydro-Glow Complex Serum
This multitasking serum uses ingredients like ectoin, hyaluronic acid and peptides to firm, hydrate and support the skin barrier. However, its key ingredient are its plant-based exosomes, a skin care ingredient that helps boost collagen production, reduce inflammation and repair the skin, according to The Inkey List.
“I’ve been using this every day for about a week now, and it’s too early to see if it makes a difference for my skin concerns, but what I love is its creamy, hydrating and extremely lightweight consistency and feel,” says Alvarez, who received a courtesy sample from the brand. “My skin instantly absorbs the serum and it creates such a smooth and glowing base under my skin care and makeup.”
Augustinus Bader The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50
This launch marks the first SPF formulation created by Augustinus Bader. The lightweight and hydrating mineral sunscreen uses non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (two active ingredients experts recommended in my previous reporting) to give broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. It also has non-active ingredients to target fine lines, reduce redness and improve dull skin, according to the brand.
K18 AstroLift Reparative Volume Spray
Use this lightweight, non-sticky, buildable spray on towel-dried or dry hair to repair damage, fight humidity and add body and volume. The formula creates a protective barrier around the hair and is especially helpful for fine and breakage-prone hair, according to K18.
Dr. Dennis Gross DermInfusions Fill + Repair Eye Cream
Suitable for all skin types, this eye cream brightens, plumps and combats dark circles and the appearance of sunken eyes, according to the brand. “I’ve been trying out this eye cream for over a month now, and the results have been incredible,” says NBC Select updates editor Mili Godio, who received a courtesy sample from the brand. “I’ve noticed my under eyes look fuller and brighter, and as someone who has genetic dark under eye circles and hollowness, it makes me feel much more confident going makeup-free.”
Cocokind Ceramide Lip Blur Balm
These lip balms, which are available in four sheer tints and a clear version, use ceramides, glycerin and peptides to condition your lips, support its skin barrier and smooth out fine lines, according to Cocokind. These balms are great for all skin types because they’re free of common irritants like flavoring and fragrance. It also has the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance.
Not only is its formula a standout, but it’s also the packaging. The tube balms have a curved applicator to follow the shape of your lips and a built-in cap ring so that you can secure it to your keys and bags without worrying about potentially losing them.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Ceramide Drops Face Oil
You can incorporate a few of these booster drops into your moisturizer, face mask and serum or apply it directly to your skin to help hydrate the skin, improve tone and texture and strengthen your skin’s barrier, according to the brand. The fast-absorbing face oil has ingredients to soothe the skin, reduce fine lines and increase firmness and elasticity. This is best for those with combination, normal, dry and sensitive skin, according to Dr. Barbara Sturm.
L’Oréal Professionnel AirLight Pro Hair Dryer
The AirLight Pro, the first hair dryer from L’Oreal Professionnel, debuted at the end of 2024 and hasinfrared-light technology that helps leave the hair smoother and more hydrated, according to the brand. You can alternate between its two attachments (a diffuser and concentrator), and you can customize its settings on the tool itself or through its companion app.
Kitchen launches
Nutribullet Ultra Plus+ Compact Kitchen System
Nutribullet’s latest appliance comes with interchangeable attachments that let you use it as a personal blender, food processor and coffee/spice grinder. Each attachment is compatible with the included motor base, which activates when you add an attachment. You can run 30-second auto-cycles or use the pulse function whether you’re using the system to make a smoothie, chop onions or grind coffee beans. The machine comes in finishes like gunmetal, stainless steel, satin black, brass and pearl white.
Our Place Titanium Pro Collection
Our Place introduced its Titanium Always Pan Pro last year, and now, the brand is bringing the same durable, nonstick, toxin-free material to other cookware. You can officially buy the Titanium Perfect Pot Pro in mini and standard sizes, and the Titanium Always Pan Pro in mini and large sizes (in addition to the already released standard size). All titanium cookware is stovetop-, oven- and dishwasher-safe, has 360-degree sealed rims with pour spouts and comes with built-in utensil rests. Metal and silicone utensils are included with your purchase.
Balmuda MoonKettle
Balmuda’s electric MoonKettle is a modernized version of the kettles people used centuries ago in China and Japan, according to the brand. It comes with a plug-in base that has a LED screen, and you can adjust the water’s temperature from between 122 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit using the built-in buttons. The kettle, which has a fixed handle, retains heat from up to 30 minutes, according to Balmuda. It has a 0.9-liter capacity, which is enough water to make about five to six cups of coffee.
Gozney Tread
The Tread is Gozney’s most portable pizza oven, which you can set up in a backyard or at a campsite, tailgate or beach. It has a gas burner and dial controls, and it can reach up to 950 degrees Fahrenheit in about 15 minutes, according to the brand. The lightweight oven has carry handles on the sides to help you move it around. Beyond using it to make pizza, you can cook meat, fish and vegetables as well. Gozney launched a handful of Tread accessories (sold separately), like a carry bag, stand and roof rack that you can connect to the top of the oven and use as a prep station or mini table.
Stasher Stretch Lids
Reduce how much plastic you use in your kitchen with Stasher’s reusable stretch lids, which act as a replacement for disposable plastic wrap. They’re made from the same silicone as the brand’s reusable bags and bowls, and their interior walls are textured to help them stick to materials like glass and wood, creating a leak-proof, non-slip seal. The dishwasher-safe lids stretch 33% to 60% beyond their original size and bounce back after each use. They each have tabs and a lip you can grab to maneuver them, and they’re safe to use in the refrigerator, freezer, microwave and oven up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. The lids come in four sizes (2.5, 4.5, 6.5 and 9.0 inches). You can buy them individually or as bundles.
De’Longhi Linea Classic Espresso Machine
While many espresso machines cost over $300, De’Longhi’s newest model is about $200 and equipped with many of the same features as higher-end options. The Linea Classic quickly extracts and heats ground espresso so it’s as flavorful as possible, and you can brew single or double shots. The machine has an adjustable steam wand to make frothed milk, as well as drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. It has a stainless steel exterior and is compact in size, so it fits on most countertops.
Home launches
Shark TurboBlade
Shark designed this quiet, oscillating, bladeless fan to eliminate the need for multiple cooling appliances in one room. You can pivot its head and twist its vents to point air in up to two directions at a time. It also has a telescoping pole, letting you adjust the fan’s height depending on how you’re using it. There’s 10 airflow speeds and multiple modes to choose from, including sleep mode. The fan has a removable filter that traps dust particles, which you can easily wipe clean.
Tushy Cloud and Cloud+ E-Bidets
Tushy expanded its line of bidet toilet seats with two new models: the Cloud and the Cloud+. They both instantly heat water and have a nightlight, air dryer, heated seat and UV nozzle serialization system. But with the Cloud+, you get additional benefits, like a remote control (instead of using the Cloud’s side control panel, which is attached to the toilet seat) and a built-in deodorizer that pulls air through a carbon filter while you’re sitting. The bidet only fits elongated toilet bowls and comes with all the materials you need for installation, including tank adapters, hoses and hardware like bolts and washers.
Parachute Organic Plush Bath Collection
This is the brand’s softest, fluffiest, most absorbent towel material yet, according to Parachute. It’s made from 100% organic Turkish Aegean long-staple cotton, giving it a luxurious, lofty texture. The portable, tabletop fan, which weighs about five pounds, lasts for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
Shark also recently came out with the FlexBreeze Pro Mist, which you can use as a tabletop or pedestal fan, and has a larger misting tak.
Travel launches
Yeti Ranchero Backpack
Yeti’s newest water- and abrasion-resistant backpack is excellent for short trips and commutes because of its many internal and external pockets and additional straps. It also has a back panel and cushioned shoulder straps that work to alleviate neck and shoulder discomfort by evenly distributing weight and giving you stability. If you don’t feel like carrying it, you can place it on the ground without worrying about it tipping over or attaching it to your carry-on.
“I took this on a recent weekend trip, and I was shocked with how much I fit in it,” says Alvarez, who got a courtesy sample from the brand. “I stuffed it with enough shoes, clothes and toiletries for four days and still had room for more. But my favorite thing is that it could unzip fully, so I could easily access and see where everything was, which was especially helpful when I was on the train and bus.”
Quince Aluminum Carry-On Suitcase
Quince recently released its first aluminum carry-on, a lightweight and durable addition to its growing luggage collection. Its interior is large enough to hold five to seven outfits and has a removable laundry bag, compression panel and organizational compartments.
