A Marriage of Accessories

Species by the Thousands jewelry designer Erica Bradbury is like the Kevin Bacon of Brooklyn’s indie design scene, with her macabre brass and bronze pendants appearing in a dizzying number of flea-market booths, pop-up shops, and boutiques. After six years of that grind, she’s teaming up with leather-jewelry-makers Cold Picnic to open a permanent store on March 1, A Thousand Picnics (171 S. 4th St., nr. Driggs Ave., Williamsburg; no phone). In addition to their respective accessories, the rustic, found-object-outfitted store will sell giftable housewares like handloomed rugs, wool blankets, essential-oil fragrances, natural soaps, and screen-printed pillows.
