For this edition of Don’t DillyDally we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including a pajama shirt from the Stüssy and Tekla collection, resin hoops from Merjuri, and a new skin-care-makeup hybrid line from YSL Beauty.
Cup of Jo x Alex Mill
Following a successful first collaboration, Alex Mill and Joanna Goddard of Cup of Jo have teamed up again for another limited-edition launch. This time they’ve released a classic button down, available in both a solid white and striped blue and green. The shirt riffs on the brand’s Wyatt design, featuring a slightly roomier fit and longer cuffs that roll up to reveal a small embroidered heart on the sleeve.
Carbon38 Tennis Shop
Tennis-inspired fashion is everywhere these days — which, we think, has something to do with more people getting into the sport during quarantine. It’s the ideal pandemic pastime, and has a long, stylish legacy. Recently, activewear e-tailer Carbon 38 debuted their tennis shop, which has anything one might need for a fashionable day of play. The shop includes a range of brands, including Naomi Osaka’s collaboration with Nike, which Racquet Magazine founder Caitlin Thompson likes because it has functionality and appeal off the court. This bright orange crop top is long enough to be worn on its own but still offers a nice, compressive fit.
Madewell Perfect Vintage Straight Jean
Madewell, which makes some of our favorite denim, has released a new style inspired by ’90s mom jeans. The high-rise fit sits right below the belly button and they have just a bit of stretch, which gives it a broken-in feel. The jeans are available in straight, petite, plus, and tall sizes, and go up to a size 28.
Misen Carbon Steel Wok
Chef-favorite Misen now makes pre-seasoned steel woks designed to work with all kinds of cooktops. Its 12-inch size makes it easy to store, but it’s still big enough to cook an entire meal and it has a small, flat bottom so you can cook on burners big and small. Currently it’s available for pre-order with an expected ship date of early January. While that’s a ways away, it’s also 30 percent off, which we think makes it worth the wait.
Stüssy x Tekla
Stüssy has teamed up with Copenhagen-based Tekla on a collection for the home and beach. Offerings include patterned, organic cotton bath towels, baja-patterned bathrobes, and long-staple cotton pajamas that have been lightly stonewashed for extra softness. Like most Stüssy launches, sizes are selling out quickly, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.
Mejuri Resin Collection
Just in time for the final weeks of summer, Mejuri has released a limited edition run of colorful resin hoops. There’s two styles — smaller croissant-shape hoops and larger, solid-color ones — which come in a soft, sky blue, grass green, black, and an eye-catching orange.
Crocs Socks Collection
Crocs now makes socks. Available in two lengths — quarter and crew — the colors and patterns are inspired by existing Crocs shades and their decorative add-ons, Jibbitz. We like this neutral, tie-dyed pack, which we think will team nicely with just about any pair.
YSL NU
YSL recently launched a new, Gen Z–inspired range, aptly named NU. Somewhere between makeup and skin care, the collection contains a hydrating skin mist, a glow-making priming moisturizer, a mattifying primer, and a skin tint, which comes in 20 shades and offers buildable coverage. The skin tint promises to be twice as hydrating as a foundation, and is made up of 15 percent glycerin — which Rio says is just as hydrating as its more famous counterpart, hyaluronic acid.
