Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was heavily criticized by Democrats including Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the immigration policies. “I take personal offense on behalf of the 240,000 men and women of the Department of Homeland Security,” said Nielsen in response.
