At the National Sheriffs' Association annual conference, Kirstjen Nielsen denies that the Department of Homeland Security is intentionally acting in "immoral and disgraceful" ways. "Don’t believe the press, they are very well taken care of," Nielsen says of immigrant children being separated from their parents. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said later, "We do not want adults to bring children into this country unlawfully either, placing those children at risk."
