Calm down, everybody. Former IMF managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn wants you to know he’s not as gross as you think he is. While on trial in France for “aggravated pimping as part of a group,” DSK told the court that he was attending sex parties like, four times a year. That’s only once a quarter, people. It barely even counts.
“When you read the criminal complaint you get the impression it was this frenetic activity,” DSK said in a Lille court on Tuesday, according to the Financial Times. “But it was four times a year, not more than that. It wasn’t this out-of-control activity.”
Though the details of the sex parties are lurid and unsettling, Strauss-Kahn also said on Tuesday that he was simply too busy “saving the world” to attend all these orgies, noting that he simply “had other things to do.”
DSK: a man of true restraint.
