A reporter tried to trick Chris Christie into talking about junk food today by asking about the bankruptcy of Hostess, but the New Jersey governor figured out what was up. “Really, seriously, you’re not asking me about Hostess Twinkies, are you?” Christie shot back knowingly. He then went on to talk about the creamy cakes for nearly a minute, and posted the clip of his good-natured zingers to his official YouTube channel and Twitter. “I’m on Saturday Night Live enough,” he protested. “This is a setup! You people are the worst! I am not answering questions on Twinkies. No, no, no, no, no, no. It’s bad that I even said the word ‘Twinkie’ from behind this microphone.” It’s almost as if he wants his humanizing, genial, everyman interactions broadcast to the entire country.
