Whether we’re scouring the internet’s sales bins to find actually good deals or answering your burning shopping questions, we’re always thinking about ways to make online shopping a little easier. So we’re launching a new on-site shopping tool that should streamline the process of browsing and shopping on the Strategist itself. On select articles, you’ll be able to add the products we’re recommending into one shared shopping cart, then buy everything at once, as part of the same secure checkout process — all without leaving our site.
So let’s say you’re reading through Rio Viera-Newton’s evening skin-care routine and you want to buy everything she recommends. With on-site shopping, you don’t have to open any new tabs or even leave the article to make that happen. Just add the product to your cart, then go straight back to her recommendations, where you can continue to read and add more items. You can also add products from other articles into the same shopping cart, in case something else catches your eye. Once you’ve selected everything you want to buy, enter your credit-card and shipping information, check out, and your items will be on their way. Each order will be fulfilled by the individual merchants, so if you added products from three or four different merchants to your on-site shopping cart, you should expect to receive three or four different packages in the mail, not in one mega Strategist-branded shipment.
We’re going to be rolling out more articles with on-site shopping over the next few weeks. Let us know what you think of it by sending us an email at [email protected].
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side-sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
