12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Kate Spade to Bissell

It’s the end of the week, and you’ll be happy to know we found the internet’s sales bins full. There are deep discounts on West Elm home goods, a sale on sale happening at Madewell, and 20 percent off sitewide at Paula’s Choice. And, as always, if you want even more deals sent straight to your inbox, sign up for our email newsletter.

When we talked to interior designers about their favorite doormats, this one from West Elm was already one of the more affordable options, and today it’s even cheaper at 30 percent off. The coir material is naturally stain resistant, but the fun striped design will help to further camouflage dirt.

We also spotted this good-for-everything basket for half off. In an entryway it can hold umbrellas, in a living it can organize magazines, and in a bedroom, it can keep your extra blankets close at hand.

Everything at Paula’s Choice is 20 percent off with code HOWL, including this BHA treatment recommend for Keratosis pilaris, commonly referred to as chicken skin. Dermatologist Dr. Camille Howard says it will help soften the hardened little keratin plugs over time.

This salicylic-acid-based exfoliating toner (beloved by skin-care gurus such as HyramSacheu, and Gothamista) is also on sale, and, according to Strategist contributor Rio Viera-Newton, works to remove dead cells on the surface of your skin and exfoliate the pore’s lining, which helps prevent and treat clogged pores.

Even though it feels like summer just started, Anthropologie is having its first fall sales event, taking 25 percent off seasonal staples like these transitional suede clogs.

Bissell makes some of our favorite vacuums, so we’d be willing to give this all-in-one steam vac a try. The reviews are convincing too. “[It] vacuums just as well as my shark vacuum and cordless Dyson,” one reads. “It cleans just as well as the Swiffer I’m used to using, but it even easier on tough to clean spots cus I don’t have to scrub the area but instead let the vacuum sit and slowly move it back and forth to let the steam melt the spot.”

Last month one of our top-selling products was a massage cushion from Snailax. This shoulder massager is from the same brand and is more portable. You can take it from the desk chair to the sofa to the car.

Kate Spade is taking an extra 40 percent off sale items with code SAVE40, bringing this perfect hot-pink mini-bag down to just $75.

The sale also includes these earrings that will allow you to subtly rep the city at all times.

We found more discounts over at Madewell where they’re having a not-so-secret Secret Stock Sale during which already on-sale items are an extra 30 percent off with code CLASSIFIED. This striped tee is perfect for a casual day at the office.

After work, reach for these cutoffs, still available in standard sizes 23 to 33 and plus sizes 14w to 20w.

And for that beach wedding you have coming up, you won’t have to worry about getting sand in between your toes or your heels sinking in with these espadrilles.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
