For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out — including a cooling Casper pillow, a washable silk sleep skirt from Lunya, and Away’s new canvas collection.
Jonah Hill’s Meaningful Existence
Jonah Hill’s new streetwear and lifestyle brand, Meaningful Existence (recently soft-launched by Lisa Rinna at a Lakers game), satirizes the monetization of wellness culture — which isn’t to say his trippy tees, totes, and candles are being given away for free. In the defense of “Prophet Ezekiel Profit,” as Hill is styling himself as part of this new endeavor, 3 percent of sales will be donated to mental-health initiatives.
Casper
If you’re a hot sleeper who uses cooling sheets each summer, it’s worth completing your setup with a cooling pillow. The latest launch from Strategist favorite Casper features “snow technology” that promises both temperature regulation and fluffiness. Sounds comfortable — now, if they could only do something about that relentless air-con droning.
Barbie x Impala
When the first Barbie set photos emerged almost a year ago, the Strategist inline-skating team identified Margot Robbie’s extremely ’90s Rollerblades as a pair of Impala Lightspeeds in a custom colorway that wasn’t yet on sale. Barbie’s fluoro skates have finally hit the market in time for the movie’s release, and while most sizes sold out immediately, there are still kneepads in stock for now.
Lunya
Lunya makes our favorite pair of washable silk pajamas, as well as a smooth cotton robe that feels like wearing your favorite T-shirt. The brand’s latest launch is a “sleep skirt” made from the same stretchy, breathable silk-weave fabric that we’ve been wearing to bed since 2019. The skirt’s built-in shorts and pockets mean we’d happily wear it to the bodega, too.
Away
Away makes some of our most recommended luggage, and this summery new drop (featuring beachy shades of yellow and beige) is begging for a trip to Europe. Or just Montauk works too.
Reigning Champ x Racquet
It looks like tennis will be trendier than ever this summer, and Vancouver-based boxing brand Reigning Champ’s second collaboration with indie tennis magazine Racquet is peak terrycloth aesthetic. The drop includes a mouth guard, a sweat cloth, and a matching tee-and-shorts set that can be worn whether you’re practicing your backhand, uppercut, or, er, pickleball dink.
Brightland
Brightland’s seasonal red-wine vinegar is here for a summer of salads, pickled red onions, and fresh oysters doused in artisanal mignonette. We’re longtime fans of the brand’s fancily bottled, small-batch condiments, which also include a chef-recommended flavored olive oil.
Eastpak x Van Gogh Museum
The usually utilitarian Eastpak gets an art-world upgrade thanks to this collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The sunny sunflower backpack design is an obvious standout, but the subtler almond blossoms are lovely, too.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
