I love a good antioxidant. I’ve been evangelizing about vitamin C for years, noting that despite its mercurial nature, when it works well, the ingredient is incredibly effective at brightening and lightening hyperpigmentation. That brings me to the Beauty Stat vitamin-C eye cream, which Strategist writer Dominique Pariso says has had a noticeable effect on her hereditary dark circles. “I can honestly say that the product has made my eyes look closer to perfect,” she says, noting that the formulation — 5 percent encapsulated L-ascorbic acid and hydrating hyaluronic acid — and velvety finish makes for the ideal brightening eye cream. This does come at a cost. Typically, the eye cream is $65, but today you can grab it for half the price at Amazon and Ulta. I haven’t seen it this cheap in a long while, so I wouldn’t wait.

The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by our team of editors, whom you can read about here. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
