Editor’s note: Black Friday has officially started, so we’re no longer updating this post. For our most up-to-date coverage, check out our roundup of the best Black Friday bedding deals and sign up for our email newsletter.
A bunch of Black Friday bedding deals have already landed, with more rolling in each day. As the Strategist’s bedding writer, I’m actually very excited to highlight some of my favorite sheets, comforters, throws, and more — many of which I’ve personally slept in. I’ve also enlisted my fellow writers to test out a few of the products below, so rest assured that these are things we vouch for. Whether you want to upgrade your pillow situation, need a fresh set of sheets, or are curious about a new fabric like linen, you’ll find significant savings — from 25 to up to 40 percent off — on just about everything to make your bed as cozy as possible. I’ll be updating this story as sales go live, so check back often. For even more (early) Black Friday deals, check out our hub here.
The deals I personally think are best
Comforters — especially ones filled with down — are expensive, but they are one of those investment items you won’t regret. I love something that’s incredibly lofty and fluffy, and the higher you go up in weight, the pricier it will be. Luckily, many, if not most of these Black Friday bedding deals include discounts on down comforters, which can go for hundreds of dollars. Below are some of my recommendations for if you want to splurge on a cloud-like blanket for the winter to come.
ABC Home
At ABC Home’s Black Friday sale, the more you spend, the more you save. Discounts begin at 20 percent off for purchases $350 and up, all the way up to 35 percent. ABC’s mohair throws are a classic (but expensive) gift — luckily, they’re on sale this weekend.
Amazon
Amazon’s Black Friday sale includes a lot of bedding, too, if you know where to look. Our favorite bamboo cooling sheets are on sale, as are a couple of pillows, including a best-in-class down-alternative pick from Casper and a two-sided Tempur-Pedic pillow that our sleep writer, Amelia Jerden, says is very nice. (For Black Friday deals on mattresses, check out her roundup here.)
Boll & Branch
Boll & Branch is offering 25 percent off any purchases $200 and up with code CYBER25 and up to 50 percent off on select styles — plus an extra 25 percent off on sale items. That includes my favorite washed sateen sheets, a lived-in, almost-crispy sateen sheet that feels closer to percale.
Brooklinen
Everything is 25 percent off at Brooklinen (or up to 50 percent off, if you buy a bundle). That means our best-in-class down comforter, duvet cover, and sateen sheets are all on sale.
The Citizenry
The Citizenry’s linen sheets are made from French flax linen and are some of the coolest sheets we’ve tried. For Black Friday, they’re 20 percent off, but you can save up to 35 percent sitewide — and not just on bedding.
The Company Store
If you want a one-stop shop for all things for your bed, I can’t think of a more solid choice than the Company Store, which does every category superbly well. It makes my all-time favorite down comforter, the best jersey sheets, and some very nice linen sheets as well. You can find select items up to 60 percent off, with everything else 30 percent off with code BFDEALS24.
Coyuchi
For elevated, organic bedding founded in California, you’ll want to check out Coyuchi, whose 25-percent-off sale includes our favorite linen duvet covers, crinkled percale sheets, and quilts.
Cozy Earth
If you want to try sheets that are not cotton or linen, consider Cozy Earth’s bamboo set, one of our favorites for how silky smooth it is. You can save up to 35 percent off everything else sitewide, too.
Cultiver
Everything is 25 to 75 percent off at Cultiver, which makes our favorite softest linen sheets. Depending on the color you choose, a set can go for up to half off. You can also build your own set, in case you don’t like to use a top sheet. There are some very giftable items on sale, too.
Ettitude
Ettitude also makes very nice bamboo bedding, including our favorite cooling sheets, which are currently 30 percent off (though you can save up to 40 percent off sitewide).
Morrow
My favorite sheets — the ones I reach for most often in my linen closet — are Morrow’s matte sateen sheets. They’re so soft and buttery and only get better with time. If I haven’t convinced you yet, they’re on sale (in certain colors) for 20 percent off, along with other select items (like our softest linen duvet cover). For on-sale items, you can also get an additional 30 percent off.
Parachute
It’s Parachute’s biggest sale of the year with everything 30 percent off — plus an additional 30 percent off on already-discounted items. That includes our favorite linen and percale duvet covers, percale sheets, and down pillows.
Piglet in Bed
For the most durable linen in extremely pleasing colors and patterns, Bristish brand Piglet in Bed is your best bet. I love the gingham check but also love this elderberry color. You can get those and much more for 25 percent off during the brand’s Black Friday “Barn” Sale.
Pottery Barn
You can save up to 50 percent off at Pottery Barn’s early Black Friday sale, which includes my absolute favorite, coziest throw, the faux fur ruched blanket, now 30 percent off, which my husband and I fight over all the time. It’s also a gift that I’ve given countless times.
Schoolhouse
Strategist toy writer Liza Corsillo prefers to top her bed with a quilt rather than a comforter, and her favorite ones come from Schoolhouse, which is offering 20 percent off everything, or 25 percent off orders $250 and up. I also love the brand’s patterned sheets.
The Six Bells
For more traditional bedding and cushions, you can head to the Six Bells, where everything is up to 60 percent off, with most things around 25 percent off.
