Madewell’s up-to-70-percent-off-sitewide was one of the best deals on Cyber Monday, and it’s been going strong ever since. The sale changed today, and some deals got even better. Now, instead of half-off everything, the code CHEERS gets you 50 percent off select full-price items as well as an additional 50 percent off select sales items. In some cases, such as with the shoes below, the code gets you up to 60 percent off, meaning you can get a pair of classic loafers for just $63 right now. The best savings, though, are in the sale section, where the sale-on-sale discount means cashmere sweaters for less than $50, work pants (including the famous Harlows) for less than $30, and tank tops for less than $15. It’s where I did almost all of my shopping for this guide. There’s no telling when the sale will end, but note that a few deals did go up or end entirely, so you shouldn’t procrastinate much longer.
Update on December 5, 2024: Updated sales code to CHEERS, updated prices, and checked stock for all products.
The Harlow Pants (that our own Arielle Avila and Alexis Swerdloff own) were at their cheapest during Cyber Week, marked down for a whopping 75 percent off. Unsurprisingly, they were a best seller with Strategist readers — you’re into very affordable pants, apparently!
This version of the Harlows features a slimmer wide-leg and sharper pleats for around $5 more than the original.
If you like the Kick Out Crop Jeans, why not try the Kick Out Crop Pants?
This style of the Perfect Vintage is wide-legged and cut for hourglass figures, with a longer rise and more room through the hips and thighs.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the ’90s Straight Jean — which is a little cheekier in the back than the Perfect Vintage — so discounted. Note that the sale price varies greatly by color, but all colors are on sale.

Some easy-to-throw-on, layerable cashmere for the coldest of cold fronts.
The ultrawarm alpaca in this sweater means you won’t get the cold shoulder (literally).

To be worn to your office holiday party, the dinner after with your co-workers, and then drinks with your friends.
The Essential Tote first appeared on the the Strategist back in 2018 and became the most-recommended tote bag in our archives since then. The bucket version might be small, but it’s big enough for a phone, card case, and pack of mints. This bag got a little more expensive today, but it’s still a decent deal on a Madewell tote.
And a gold version of the tote for those who like a little glitz.
This wristlet has room for everything you need money-wise, a pouch for coins, and a dog clip so the card case doesn’t end up at the bottom of your purse.
These classic loafers were half price yesterday. Now, they’ve 60 percent off — $16 cheaper than just a day ago!
There’s padding on the inside of these mary janes so you won’t be too eager to take them off at the end of a long day — or a long night. (These are also a better deal today than they were yesterday.)
