New Stuff Alert: Watermelon Laneige and Tyler, the Creator’s Slippers

For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve surfaced a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including actually comfy mid-century furniture, A24’s new book about filmmaker fashion, and striped Away luggage.

Cold Picnic Solid Rugs

These solid-color rugs are a pivot for Cold Picnic, a brand best known for its abstract-pattern designs. Woven from eco-dyed wool, they’re minimal yet luxe, available in four painterly shades that you’d have a hard time finding dupes for at Wayfair.

New Burrow Sofas

Mid-century-style furniture isn’t always particularly comfortable to lounge around on, which is why I’m kind of into Burrow’s new range of ’60s-ish sectionals with extra-wide T-shaped cushions. The hunt for a deep (but not too deep) sofa might finally be over.

A24’s Filmmaker Fashion Book

The movie moguls-slash-merch kings at A24 are at it again with a coffee-table book dedicated to auteur style. The essays and interview excerpts are as exciting as the archival photos — find out why Wong Kar-Wai wears pilot sunglasses on set and where Hollywood’s best directors buy their button-down shirts.

An Enthousiasmos and Wary Meyers Candle

Wary Meyers is a candle brand for people who love scents but don’t mesh with the fussy Diptyque aesthetic. This Italy-themed one (a collaboration with Roman Coppola and Johan Chiaramonte’s Enthousiasmos Club) smells like cornettos and cobblestones, and it can be customized with the included stickers.

Watermelon Laneige

Laneige’s overnight lip mask (which most people end up using during the day, too) is worth the hype, as our beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst explained back in 2022. If you’re looking to re-up for summer, here’s a seasonal watermelon flavor with cute packaging.

New Lo & Sons Colors

Lo & Sons makes travel bags that don’t look like travel bags. Its leather fanny packs are beloved by stylish jet-setters and are available in two new colorways as of this week: cognac and ivory.

Madewell and Lisa Says Gah! Summer Clothes

Still scrambling for a summer sun dress? Look no further than this Greek Isles–inspired one from Madewell and Lisa Says Gah. It’s 100 percent cotton, and the braided straps are a really nice detail.

Away and La Ligne Luggage

This Amalfi Coast–ready striped suitcase from Away’s collaboration with La Ligne is making me regret my boring black carry-on. The matching striped packing cubes are chic, too.

Starter Sardines From Fishwife

Fishwife especially recommends its new teeny-tiny sardines for tinned seafood newbies. I was lucky enough to receive a sample last month and can confirm that they’ll win over anyone who usually struggles with fishy textures or flavors.

Tyler, the Creator’s Parachute Collaboration

Tyler, the Creator’s fashion brand has partnered with Parachute Home to create a pastel-hued bedding collection, and while the sheets are nice, I’m more interested in these very reasonably priced fluffy slippers made from real shearling. Cheaper than UGGs and much more collectible.
