10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Sesame Street to Stanley

For this week’s ”Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including a covetable leather travel tote bag from Cuyana, a coffee-scented candle from Diptyque, and breezy new Parachute sheets.

Madewell Flea Market Flare Jeans

You could spend hours and hours of your life trawling for the perfect pair of vintage summer jeans … or just buy this reissued flared style from Madewell (a brand whose denim we truly trust) that first launched in 2014.

Baggu Deadstock Collection

Every now and then, Baggu produces a limited run of popular styles made from leftover fabrics. They always sell out quickly, and yesterday’s drop is no exception with a number of items already gone forever. You can still grab one of these metallic nylon baguettes for now — I like that the strap can be lengthened into a crossbody.

Our Place Oven Rack

An all–Our Place kitchen wouldn’t be complete without this oven rack that’s designed to work with the brand’s popular griddle pan. Use it to roast meats or vegetables (the extra airflow enhances crispiness), or flip it upside down and use it as a cooling rack for baked goods.

Brooklinen x Sesame Street

Brooklinen’s first-ever kids’ collection features the beloved characters of Sesame Street printed on soft cotton percale. There’s also an excellent hooded bath towel featuring the Cookie Monster.

Stanley All Day Slim Bottles

Will the 2024 Word of the Year be “Stanley”? The brand continues to dominate the drinking-vessel space with its latest launch, an elegant water bottle that comes apart so you can add ice cubes and clean it more easily.

Diptyque x Café Verlet

New limited-edition gourmand candles from Diptyque and Café Verlet take inspiration from the latter eatery’s very Parisian menu. Sadly, there’s no croque monsieur candle (cowards!), but this coffee-scented one (with notes of toasted cereal) is cute.

Parachute Heirloom Tencel

We’re excited to try Parachute’s new temperature-regulating sheets made from a blend of Tencel and linen fibers. There are two colorways for now: white (with elegant black stitching) and beige (with desert-y brown stitching). Both promise to make summer nights as breezy as possible.

Alo Sleep Capsules

Alo Yoga has come out with a melatonin-free, non-habit-forming sleep supplement that uses the clinically studied powers of magnesium to induce deep sleep — presumably so you can wake up rested, refreshed, and ready to hit the mat at 6 a.m.

Cuyana Easy Travel Tote

When Strategist contributing writer Mya Gelber stopped strangers on the subway to find the perfect work bag, so many of them recommended Cuyana’s Classic Easy Tote that she ended up buying one for herself. Now the same bag is available in a larger travel size, made from the same soft leather and ready to be stuffed full of packing cubes.

Vacation Orange Gelée

And lastly, an apology: Vacation’s reimagining of Bain de Soleil’s tragically discontinued cult-favorite Orange Gelée sunscreen has already sold out, although you can sign up to an email list for notification about restocks. The hype is understandable: This new formula’s scent and texture mimics the original while adding extra SPF. In the meantime, we did find some good dupes.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
