TV station NBC LA was naturally delighted when it came across a purported Christian news website that said actor Bill Murray is not only “a weak man” but also “a murderer of lambs, a despicable hedonist who waves the white flag welcoming the end of American moral and economic primacy” and “a harbinger of our death as a culture.” Of course, had they looked further into the site to find stories like “Mexican Zombie Flu Raises Black Rapper ‘Tupac’ From the Dead,” they may have realized it was a gag.
