Well, happy home opener at least. There are still so many questions in advance of tonight’s Rangers–Maple Leafs game: On which line will Chris Drury play, and will Erik Christensen play at all? (One lineup change has already been announced: Matt Gilroy will replace Michael Sauer.) Will the Rangers opt not to introduce players individually again this year? (We’re still convinced they didn’t last year so the likes of Wade Redden and Donald Brashear wouldn’t get booed.) Will pregame entertainer Ace Frehley be better received than the Blue Man Group was last year? (Actually we can answer that one: He’d almost have to be.) And lastly, will cell-phone reception hold up when thousands and thousands of people try checking the Yankees score during every other stoppage from about 8:07 on?
