Beer Table
427B Seventh Ave., nr. 14th St., Park Slope; 718-965-1196
Bubbly might be the eve’s traditional quaff, but Beer Table, in Park Slope, will throw a bone to suds lovers with a five-course feast that includes three pairings of a different kind of carbonated brew. The cold-weather-friendly menu begins with veggies dipped in bagna cuda, followed by an escarole salad; a main-course cassoulet with bacon, beans, and duck confit; and meal-enders in the way of chocolate cake and cheese. Make reservations by December 28 for either the 8 p.m. ($55), or 10 p.m. ($65) seatings — don’t worry, traditionalists, at the latter you’ll still get your toast, but here it’s with beer.

If New Year’s Eve for you means one last blowout before self-deprivation sets in, the Fattys have you covered, calorie-wise. Fatty Crab is hosting a $75 all-you-can-eat crab-stravaganza (there’s a one-hour time limit on crustacean-gorging, gluttons). The dinner includes a glass of champers and an amuse bouche to start, your choice of Fatty sliders or steamed buns, and (if you can fit anything else in your stomach), mochi to finish. Meanwhile, across the river at Fatty ‘Cue, dig into a five-course meal (also $75) that centers around Brandt prime rib and throws in a she-crab bisque, plus bacon- and butter-laced veggie sides, and a glass of bubbly. An open-bar after-party that begins at 11 p.m. is $50 for dinner guests and $65 for everyone else.

Top Chef’s Harold Dieterele’s second restaurant (and first Thai foray) is fast becoming a critical darling, but that doesn’t mean the chef will be taking New Year’s Eve off. Instead, you can get in on his $85 four-course family-style meal (with a vegetarian option available), which, with more than ten dishes for the table to share, might also be one of the night’s best values. The menu starts strong with lobster and sea urchin, continues with more appetizers, like sausage with duck egg or kaffir-lime marinated fluke, and moves on to larger plates like duck-fried rice and pigeon breast with foie gras. We recommend making your reservations…now!

Maialino
Gramercy Park Hotel, 2 Lexington Ave., nr. 21st St.; 212-777-2410
Danny Meyer’s Roman restaurant won’t be holding a New Year’s bacchanal, exactly, but it will serve the regular menu, along with some to-be-determined seasonal specials, with seatings from 5:30 to 10 p.m. If you’ve gone to a Dionysian bash elsewhere and need to class it up on New Year’s Day, the spot will offer its signature brunch, with dishes like ricotta pancakes topped with apple compote and a porchetta-and-fried-egg panino, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Recette
328 W. 12th St., nr. Greenwich St.; 212-414-3000
Chef Jesse Schenker’s innovative small-plates cooking is best sampled as part of a tasting menu, and on the last night of the year he’s offering a five-course meal ($150) that also includes a glass of Champagne and dessert. The decadent lineup includes dishes like a caviar-lardo “raviolo” and housemade rigatoni with lobster bolognese, sea urchin, chile, and white truffle. The next morning from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., you can stumble in for an à la carte selection of brunch dishes, including Schenker’s PB&J pain perdue.
