I recently visited a couple of new projects by the Brooklyn Home Company, which is known for discovering, purchasing, gutting, and transforming diamond-in-the-rough properties, which are then sold to design-savvy apartment hunters. (You can see another BHC-flipped home New York published a couple of years ago here). The company’s designers, Fitzhugh Karol and Lyndsay Caleo, just overhauled this duplex apartment at 225 15th Street in South Park Slope. “New layouts, new finishes, new fixtures,” Fitzhugh says as he tours me through the living room. His artwork is on the wall, too. Photo: Wendy Goodman
