This past December, the holiday windows at Hermès’ Madison Avenue store were filled with décor that looked like an enchanted woodland. The stunning installation was the brainchild of furniture and landscape designer Charlie Baker, who designed the window scenes off-site and then installed them in pieces, some of which”like this giant twig-and-branch frame”he has stored in his new wood shop in Long Island City.
