It’s not long until the launch of Loveland (120 Commercial St., Provincetown, Mass.; 508”413-9500), Josh Patner’s new furniture, clothing, and home store. The fashion designer and writer will unveil his latest venture on July 27. Here’s a preview of its eclectic offerings: A wing chair upholstered in eighteenth-century style velvet tapestry sits alongside an avant-garde forties telephone Patner found at a house in New Bedford. “Loveland is a showcase for things that have resonance to me: old things, new things, and things made by hand,” says Patner, who is stocking work by local weavers, photographers, potters, collagers, knitters, and paper artists, among others.
