When interior decorator Ondine Karady left the set of Sex and the City back in 2004, she was given the chance to buy ornaments, furniture, and pieces of décor. While Sarah Jessica Parker got first dibs, Karady, who worked on the series as an assistant set decorator for two years, scored many items and used them to style her 900-square-foot Williamsburg apartment. Creativity runs in the family. Karady modeled for these photos taken by her sister, Jennifer. Their father, a chemist, made the sculpture using custom blown lab glass. The portrait of a man singing Karaoke is by Fritz Chesnut. The silk taffeta curtains appeared in Candice Bergen’s apartment when she played the Vogue editor-in-chief on Sex and the City. Karady’s bed is draped in a vintage Suzani cover, and the blue ceramic lamps are from Lerebours Antiques (220 E. 60th St., nr. Third Ave.; 917-749-5866). A painting from Charlotte’s Sex and the City apartment presides over the bed. Karady’s next project?
