There are fantastic flea markets all over the city, but my longtime favorite is the Garage, at 112 West 25th Street between Sixth and Seven Avenues. Many of the dealers are veterans of the long-gone outdoor space at Sixth Avenue and 25th Street, and they still inhabit a world of their own. This is a serious hunting ground, filled with local aficionados and out-of-town visitors who really know their stuff.
