This past summer, I went to visit Seth Tillett, the Tillets’ youngest son, who runs the fabric-, furniture-, and lighting-design firm Tillett and Rauscher with his wife Nicole Rauscher. He was preparing to show curators some of the material he had extracted from his parents’ archive for the exhibition that kicked off this week at the Museum of the City of New York. Here are watercolors by D.D. Tillett and a variety of textiles. Photo: Wendy Goodman

I covet every single piece of jewelry designed by D.D. This selection of gold creations incorporates coral, semi-precious stones, and the signature pineapple motif. Photo: Wendy Goodman
