Back in April, Winnie Beattie and her husband, Rob Magnotta, opened Warm (181 Mott St., nr. Kenmare St.; 212-925-1200), a clothing and accessory store inside a former olive-oil factory. The pair, who first met while surfing in Montauk, has just expanded their inventory to include an eclectic ensemble of rustic homeware. Reflecting their self-described “urban-hippie style,” the focus is on natural fabrics, earth tones, and items that are “perfectly imperfect,” as Beattie puts it. This quilt was handmade by L.A.-based cashmere label the Elder Statesman, but Magnotta and Beattie chose the mismatched colors. Photo: Wendy Goodman

The cheerful butterfly wallpaper is left over from when Magnotta and Beattie updated their own bedroom walls, but they’re happy to help customers find similar designs. The chair is from a flea market, and Jeff Ricker designed the recycled tote bag. Photo: Wendy Goodman
