After appearing as a frequent guest commentator on the network since its launch in 1996, political analyst Lawrence O’Donnell will host a new prime-time weeknight show on MSNBC. “I’ve had a part-time job at MSNBC for fourteen years,” said O’Donnell, who was a producer/writer on The West Wing and creator of the series Mister Sterling. “Now that the network and I have gotten to know each other, I’m thrilled to be going full-time.” [HR]
