“Once I get to know someone, I’m very open, very trusting,” the actress, whose boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was convicted of fraud shortly before filming commenced on her new romantic comedy Love and Other Drugs, tells Vogue this month. (The experience gave depth to her performance, naturally.) In addition to having “trust issues” stemming from that relationship, Anne confesses she is also perhaps a little naive — especially, it seems, when it comes to how much tidbits of gossip are worth in the waning days of journalism.
“Some might say too trusting, because considering the amount of money that can be made from selling gossip, I could be very easily taken advantage of.”
Oh, wait. Didn’t Anne and Raffaello hang out with Ron Burkle, Bill Clinton, and John McCain? We take that back. Maybe she has really good gossip.
