That’s a huge leap up compared to how that hour has been faring, and was almost enough to catch up to Hannity’s rival hour, which featured former governor Sarah Palin. (Piers trounced Rachel Maddow over on MSNBC in the same time slot, by nearly a million viewers.) Can Howard Stern, Condi Rice, and George Clooney draw in as many people for Piers as Oprah did? Guess we’ll have to keep watching.
