The 9 p.m. slot on CNN is barely faring better so far this year with Piers Morgan than it did last year with a “lame duck” Larry King, whose low ratings likely sped-up his retirement. In November, Morgan had his worst month since January and fewer total viewers than King last year. Or as one CNN spokesperson put it, “He’s basically tied.” A ringing endorsement, basically.
