Master of the House
Fabien Baron recently added “furniture designer” to his already impressive list of talents. His debut collection for Cappellini is as beautifully sleek, minimal, and modernist as one would expect. Our favorite piece is the Bounce Chair (shown), inspired by the baby seat used by Baron’s daughter, Eva. The adult version ranges from $2,570 to $4,500, depending on choice of fabric or leather. Prices of other pieces in the collection are from $1,000 for a floor cushion to $10,000 for a walnut platform bed.

Roman Holiday
Going barefoot on the beach is one of summer’s great pleasures. For tramping around the city, gladiator-style sandals are a close second. These sexy flats, by Cheyenne S., come embellished with feathers, shells, or beads; the suede laces wrap seductively around tan legs. Prices vary by material. Pedicure required (from $75).

We Got the Bead
A drop necklace like this flapper-inspired piece from Paste by Tracy Kahn is a great cleavage accent, and works wonders with a sexy little dress for summer soirées. At $150, this is the most expensive piece in Kahn’s sparkly line, which also includes earrings ($150).

How to really get the fireworks started? Pick up Tommy Hilfiger’s latest tank top and flaunt your freedom colors with a big kiss on your chest. There’s a cap-sleeve tee, too ($18).

Strong Arm Tactic
The beauty of temporary tattoos is that they’re just that – temporary. Feeling especially patriotic this week? Adorn yourself with one from Dover’s new set, based on vintage poster art from World Wars I and II ($1.98).

Chill Pills
Tired of those telltale pink birth-control-pill packages? Ortho Tri-Cyclen now offers a selection of seriously fashionable ones that look more like makeup compacts. There are six designs, ranging from basic black to gerber daisies to “Zebra Kiss” and “Red High Heels” versions designed by Nicole Miller ($4.95).
