I recently had the pleasure of dog-sitting Lucy, an adorable mutt whose “dad” was going to be out of town for a while. I love Lucy, but after a few days, Lucy starts to smell, well, like a dog. You know what I mean. As the “aunt” I didn’t feel it was my place to give her a bath or take her to a groomer and risk dog trauma, so I went to my local pet store and found these genius items. They’re mitt-shaped towelettes (for lack of a better word) that are doggie wipes. You put it on your hand, you pet the dog, and voila! Smell’s gone! Lucy actually liked it and has agreed to give her seal of approval.
