The Schifters Are Packing Up Their Sportsacs

Helen Lee Schifter and her husband, LeSportsac CEO Timothy Schifter, are raising their profile at 784 Park Avenue. They’re trading in their second-floor apartment there—the two-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath is now on the market for $4.8 million with Brown Harris Stevens brokers Ann Jeffery and Daniel Kessler—for a larger and more luxurious abode on the twentieth floor. The seller of the three-bedroom place upstairs is real-estate scion Jonathan Resnick. City records show the couple, mainstays on the social circuit, paid $7.97 million for Resnick’s abode, a million dollars more than its initial asking price.

Further downtown, All My Children soap star Alicia Minshew, who plays the daughter of Susan Lucci’s Erica Kane, was spotted checking out the penthouse at the 505, a new condo tower on West 47th Street. No word on whether she’s decided to buy there; the apartment is still listed at $1.395 million.
