The Greatest Building Ever Sold?

This is no stunt: Morgan Spurlock is shopping for a house in Park Slope. A source says the filmmaker behind Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold recently took a look at 319 4th Street, a freshly built Brooklyn townhouse. The property in question is a 3,300-square-foot quadruplex with a rental unit, built with ecofriendly features like a solar hot-water heater and low-emissivity windows, priced at $2.95 million. Whether he ends up buying here or not, Spurlock may be the Park Slopiest Park Sloper there is: His wife, Alexandra Jamieson, is a vegan chef; he’s best known for Super Size Me, a playful anti-fast-food documentary; and Brownstoner.com commenters placed him at a Lincoln Place open house back in 2008, around the time he affectionately called the neighborhood “Babytown” in a Chicago Tribune interview. If he’s not a member of the Food Co-op yet, expect him in there at any moment. (Neither Spurlock nor Brendan Aguayo of Aguayo Realty Group, which has the 4th Street listing, had a comment.)
