Just in time for holiday shopping, City Shuffle introduces the Shopping Deck. It’s a set of 52 cards, each a $10 gift certificate to an independently owned New York City store. They include some of my favorites—Le Labo, Flight 001, 99X, Just Shades, and Love Shine, to name a handful. The deck pays for itself after just three uses and there are no black-out dates. The only stipulation: You must make a minimum purchase of $40 at each store where you’ll use the card. Now that’s not a bad gift.
