Fans of John Derian can’t get enough of his quirky-cool decoupage decorative trays, plates, and paperweights. Now the East Village–based designer has taken his iconic phrases and patterns from those tabletop items and put them on simple, canvas tote bags. They’re surprisingly chic and affordable, but to keep them in good shape, we suggest investing in a can of Scotchgard.
