Turn on the Charm

Posted Dec. 19, 2007
We love when a designer we can’t usually afford makes something not only within our grasp but also benefiting charity. Which is exactly what Tenthousandthings has done for Trickle Up, an organization that empowers people living on less than $1 a day to start their own businesses. The necklace Tenthousandthings designed has three abstract silver charms—a shell with a seed nestled in it, a person, and a globe. Make a $100 donation to Trickle Up (all of it goes to recipients as seed money to start those businesses), and get the necklace. It’s a win-win situation.

$100 at Trickleup.org.
