I keep this blush in my purse whether I’m going to the studio or just out on my daily matcha run. I don’t like to wear too much makeup — I actually was afraid to wear blush for a while, but recently I’ve gotten so into it, especially because this blush is very light. You can wear it on top of makeup or you can wear it without makeup. It’s very smooth and creamy, but it doesn’t move. Toasted Teddy is the perfect shade for my complexion. I feel like it just adds a little life to my face throughout the day.
I love matcha, and one of my best friends introduced me to this matcha machine. She actually gifted it to me — she was like, “Oh, you need to have this.” It’s definitely become part of my morning routine. It’s fun to watch the machine grind up the matcha and mix it in perfectly. You can set it to different strengths, like if you don’t want too much caffeine that day, or if you need an extra boost. You can add in your milk, you can add sweetener if you want. It makes me feel like a matcha barista at home.
In the summertime, if it’s a hot day, then I would make a matcha Americano with vanilla syrup. But now that it’s winter, I want something a little bit heavier to make me feel warm inside. So I’ll add some milk to feel warm and cozy. I don’t drink regular milk, but I’ll do an oat or almond, or sometimes even pistachio milk.
I have it on right now. I just smelled my underarm; it smells like what heaven would smell like. It smells like a pillow. I don’t even know how to describe it. I wish everyone could just smell it. But it makes me feel very feminine and sexy. It’s not a daytime or a nighttime scent. It’s pretty universal, and it’s just beautiful. I don’t like the fruity deodorant scents that we’re used to that I guess more popular deodorant brands would carry. I was trying to find something that didn’t have that smell. Plus, it stays. I don’t find myself sweating too much with it, and it lasts throughout the day.
This snatches my face and keeps it contoured. It’s perfect for days when I’m working late — it brings me back to life the next day. Face sculpting is something I’ve gotten more into recently. Even just using the movement of my hands across my face, or using different tools like the gua sha. With the NuFace, I like the currents because I feel like it’s doing something more. I use it two to three times a week, so it’s not an everyday thing for me, but I do really see a difference after I use it. I have my daily routine, and then sometimes I’ll do a deep cleaning when I’m giving myself a real, proper facial. So the NuFace is a part of my deep-cleaning ritual.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of lip plumpers in general because they would burn too much or they were just too intense. This one has just the right level of tingling — it’s as if you’re eating spicy food. It’s smooth and sticky, but not in an annoying way. It doesn’t move either, and that’s something that I look for when I’m wearing a gloss. It goes on and stays on. So it gives me that plumpness, it gives me that shine, and it lasts for a while as well. This, along with some lip liner, is my go-to.
I like to add this mist at the end of my skin-care routine. It helps to lock everything in, and it’s so refreshing too. I like blending together the products that work best for me, and I feel like this mist really holds it together and makes me feel ready to walk out the door. It’s almost like a setting spray for your skin care.
This is my daily go-to bag. It’s big enough to hold all the things that I need — my skin-care products, my headphones, a book, everything can fit in there. But it’s not too massive that it’s jarring to the eye. I have it in two colors: I have an all-black one that I like to add some charms to when I’m feeling fun, and when I’m being more serious, I take them off. And I have it in seafoam green as well. I’ve been wearing them every single day.
I remember when I first got the seafoam-green one, my friends were like, “Oh my God, that’s the one that Mary-Kate and Ashley used to wear all the time.” I was like, “What do you mean?” I Googled it and they literally wore this bag every single day to the point that there were stains on it, and it was the same color too. I didn’t even know. My friends were like, “That’s an iconic bag.”
